With six cylinders under a cowl, the clever and fast “automatic device”, a full drive quattro, magnificent the chassis, a “strong” suspension bracket and the most powerful brakes it is devilishly fast. Time when 250 h.p. become a habit however comes, and from a roar of “six” start to wait for even more rage. In this case open a roof, and 120 km/h will seem to the second space. Even with the lifted glasses and the wind-shelter screen in interior TT Roadster the wind walks as at home. But emotions becomes more and if you pass a tunnel the peals of a thunder published 3.2 V6, it is possible to frighten surrounding drivers outright.
The base version with four cylinders cannot please with so menacing sound of final system, but it is easier, more playful and is more economic. The only thing that does not suffice it, is a full drive. Dynamics? Version 2.0 TFSI on 0,6 with more slowly at dispersal up to 100 km/h, than top 3.2 V6. It palpable a difference, but even more palpable a difference in the price: for V6 it is necessary to pay in addition approximately 5000 dollars and as much again - for a roadster. Thus, top the version in a base complete set in Russia will cost nearby 75 thousand dollars. But the target market for a roadster becomes not Russia, not the USA and at all England, and Germany. Whether it is a lot of in Germany of cabriolets? In comparison with the same America or England it is a little. But with the advent of Audi TT Roadster their quantity can increase considerably.

I managed to test only 3,2-liter all-wheel drive version TT Roadster which has been equiped additionaly by “automatic device” S-tronic and shock-absorbers Magnetic Ride. As before, “automatic device” with two disks of coupling is excellent! Fast change of transfers, effective regasing at switching “downwards”. And here the suspension bracket has appeared hardish. From model of such class you wait for greater comfort though BMW Z4 is even more rigid and not so precise behaves on the broken road. Probably, in memory memoirs about former TT in which comfort was more, than drive are still alive. This new, gift that the cabriolet, irons turns with unknown enthusiasm. Easy front, the rigid body and a full drive do the business excellently. And what Magnetic Ride? Near to selector S-tronic there is button ” Sport ” which does shock-absorbers even more rigidly. It is tempting, but only not on the broken roads because even in a normal mode the roadster shakes order. But rolls are almost imperceptible and besides excellent coupling with road., that here it at times seems - the moment when the electronic system of stabilization EDS will crack, ABS and in the long term will work squibs pillows of safety, but TT valiantly dispells fear, and you approach on following turn already with greater confidence. All occurs so quickly, that when comes to wipe time sweat from palms, you appear in destination. It is how much fast TT Roadster?

What pleasure - slowly to roll on coastal paths Nice at the wheel a cabriolet! The local youth which has got used to variegated masterpieces of world motor industry, very vividly reacted to a small roadster from Audi, and owners TT of the first generation approvingly noded a head. The theory of a design
Let’s return in 1999 Audi TT Roadster - the car to which have spoiled “ ah! ” Soft developing roof. In the form of 265-strong turbo engine, notorious Magnetic Ride and a constant full drive quattro it is impossible to resist to charms. From it 5,8 with up to “hundred” intercepts breath. It would not be desirable to get out of its armchairs sheathed by a leather. The sports rudder with leather furnish and the oblique bottom part is to be let no go. However, quickly enough you notice also a back of this seductive madness. Reduced by 25 mm road clearance does not allow to move down even on moderately broken first coat. Through huge platens of lateral support it is necessary to jump almost at an input and an output. Made active system Magnetic Ride together with low-profile 18-inch trunks, probably, and the ideal decision for German autobahn, but on the Russian roads “S” will shake more likely not imagination, and all organism. Rather short wheel base (2578 mm), borrowed at Golf V, reminds of itself on speeds for 200 km/h. S3 starts to jump up on road roughnesses, and it is necessary to compress a rudder more strong. Though this misfortune as it was found out, it is possible to overcome almost if to be removed together with forward armchairs hardly further to a back axis. What our verdict? For daily vigorous driving in city we would choose a beauty and clear head A3 c 125-strong turbo engine. Just right to fall before it on knees and to ask about a pardon. S3 - a choice of the adventurouses giving due style and comfort. “S” at its all merits and demerits - hundred percent driver’s car with corresponding “hot” hatchbacks by - from 37850 euros. Thus S3 you will not name the car for inveterate bachelors and solvent egoists. Moreover, restyling S3 even shows adherence to family values. At least, externally. In fact it is far not everyone knows, that behind a 5-door “family” environment so explosive habit disappears.

If “three” sharply to put spurs a pedal of an accelerator, you feel, how the box “has dumped” pair transfers. Shares of second - and here it, a pleasant push in a back. Here the beauty, however, not to fail to leave the message on the instrument panel: on pair transfers “above” in such situation would be more comfortably and more economically. However, appetite at our beauty quite moderated. The average charge - 6,5 L on 100 km. Therefore we perceive reminders on the display as a female whim and again we press on a pedal of “gas”.
