What pleasure - slowly to roll on coastal paths Nice at the wheel a cabriolet! The local youth which has got used to variegated masterpieces of world motor industry, very vividly reacted to a small roadster from Audi, and owners TT of the first generation approvingly noded a head. Audi TT Roadster is able to make impression on associates: a prompt, elegant silhouette, greater wheels, a convincing sound of 3,2-liter “six” … For greater shocking it is possible for the speed up to 50 km/h to put and lift top. And not as an example for compartment-cabriolets, which of a leather climb to overcome a 25-second boundary, roof Audi TT Roadster develops for 12 seconds. One pressing of the button - and electric drives “will silently pack” a fabric into compact boxing behind backs of the driver and the passenger. However, the electrohydraulic drive enters into standard equipment only the 6-cylinder version, and those who prefers four cylinders, a turbo-supercharging and a forward drive, and an additional noise isolation of soft top it is necessary to pay extra for 12 seconds. And it not avarice Audi, and as the head of a department of designing of cars Markus Zivert has declared, desire to please those consumers which prefer to electronics the simple and reliable mechanics. It is creditable. But then why the mechanical drive is not offered even as an option for top version? Mister Zivert has faltered, but soon has skilfully translated conversation in a channel favourable to it: “ And how to you controllability? ” With controllability everything is all right! Audi TT Roadster is a first cabriolet on my memory in which interior nothing creaks neither in fast turns, nor on the broken road. The cabriolet copes as precisely and reliably, as a compartment. And it passes roughnesses as … rigidly.
